The RICHTER JB-VVT-H (H = handwired) are easy mounting controls for passive bass guitars like the Jazz Bass (TM). It provides a VOL-, VOL-, TONE control, including output jack and knobs.

The circuit is completely shielded - there is no shielding inside the instrument required. Screw terminals provide an easy and solder free connection of two
pickups and the connection of the bridge to ground. The distances between the pots are flexible because of the handwiring.

This unit will mounted up easy and quickly. With the high quality dustproof pots you won‘t have any problems with cracking noise during lifetime while
turning the knob. The tone control film capacitor achieves best sound quality because of low losses and high linearity.

A notice:

The thread length of the potentiometer is 10 mm and is designed for mounting in the wooden top of the bass.

The potentiometers are too long for mounting in the control plate or pickguard.
If you want to mount the electronics on the control plate or pickguard,
2 special washers can be placed on the pot to compensate for the height difference.
If desired, we can supply 2 additional washers per pot on request.
