Here is the original description of DELANO:

The Jay-Ray combines the coil configuration of two different magnets.
The standard MM Stingray™ 9,5 mm pole pieces and also the AlNiCo V magnets of Jazz Bass configuration.

The MC4JAY-RAY is a dual coil with a DC resistance of 4K per coil.
The pickup has a shielded four conductor cable.
We recommend to use a switch and wire it parallel for MM setting ( 2K ) and single coil.
There will be no difference in the output level in this case.
